The Daring Move

"this is me," shayna said, leaning against her main gate and facing colin. she was giggling like a schoolgirl who was just out on her first date. she never imagine she would behave like this but she was.
"very nice. it's the first time i'm officially sending you home," colin said, brushing her hair back and leaning close for another kiss.
at the back of shayna's mind, she knew they should stop kissing each other... she was indeed feeling guilty. but when she saw his darling smile and his strong body so close to her, she just couldn't help herself. she knew she would just give into her temptation. so she did.
as she felt his lips touching hers again, she just indulged herself in the moment. she wondered was she always trying to run away from her desire when obstacles happen? was she so timid that she dare not even chase for hte things that she wanted in life? yes, she was an ace student, she loved her family, she chased her career but when it comes to love, was she really a mouse in lion's fur? she knew she had to change and this was the perfect time to make her first 'lioness' move.

after they forced themselves to stop kissing, colin just looked into her eyes, her gorgeous bright brown eyes. it just made him melt and forget the fact that he had a girlfriend at home.
"you wanna come in?" shayna finally forced the words out of her throat. she was shocked that she even asked. not to mention when she saw colin's jaw drop too.
"are you sure shayna? as in... come in; come IN?!" colin asked again, to make sure he didn't hear her wrong.
shayna hesistated to answer the question but she knew she had to get her courage up and do what she wants for her romance life to work.
"yes. do you?"
colin nodded and she opened the gate to allowed him in.

"try to be quiet," shayna whispered as she led colin to her room, "my parents are already asleep."
"i know that," colin said, trying his best not to laugh at the comical behaviour . he couldn't believe these two 20 something people we're trying to sneak into their room like teenagers.
finally when they are in the safety of shayna's room, they let out a quiet laugh.
"this is not funny colin," shayna said and playfully slapped colin on the chest.

colin laughed again before he kissed her. everything just seemed so perfect. colin never expected to be so happy.
shayna was just enjoying the moment too. everything she had thought that would have come true with her prince charming was happening with colin. he was the guy for her right now. nothing else, like megan mattered.
colin kissed her and carried her onto the bed. as shayna lay down there, she could feel colin's heartbeat against her chest. she knew they were both nervous yet excited about what was to happen.
shayna felt colin's hands travelling her but she wondered was she ready to let the 'lioness' out so soon? maybe colin wasn't the guy for her and what if things went wrong... and... she couldn't imagine it anymore.
finally, she took colin's hands and placed them away from her.

"Colin... maybe it's not such a good idea to.... you know...."
"yes?"
"colin. i don't think we should... do it..." shayna said, sitting up on her bed.
colin thought for a while what shayna was trying to tell her and then finally colin got it and sat down beside her.

"hey hey, don't worry. it's alright. we don't have to do it when you are not comfortable," colin said. he was indeed upset but he could not force anything upon the girl he loved. he was about to go when shayna stopped him.
"wait... you don't have to go. you can spend the night here. but just... no sex, ok?" shayna said.
colin smiled and kissed her again. then they just lay down on her bed, facing each other... kissing and talking.
